Nia and You
One of the original “Fusion Fitness” formats, each Nia class integrates a variety of moves from from three classic movement arts, dance, martial arts and healing arts, like Yoga. No two Nia classes are ever the same, and when you practice the Nia Technique you open yourself up to endless possibilities. Practicing Nia three or more times per week can enhance your cardiovascular conditioning, muscular conditioning, flexibility, body composition, and reduce stress.
Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that leads to health, wellness and fitness. Used as a tool, Nia will help you to explore life, to grow, expand, learn, and to transform yourself and your professional work. Approached as a living system, the work and world of Nia is open-ended. Everyone who touches Nia brings their own unique style and approach, making Nia completely adaptable to almost all forms of fitness and healing models.
